Ball of Lint
Description
A small ball of lint. Feels nice to the touch.
Obtaining
Inside the Dining Room, by interacting with the cupboard left of the long table.
(You look at what's in the cupboard...)
(You got a POCKETFUL OF THYME!)
(And...)
(You found a BALL OF LINT!)
(You put it inside your pocket along with your other Knick-Knacks.)
Usage
(You roll the ball of lint between your palms.)
(Feels nice.)
Bottle of Wine
Description
Four out of five traveling companions can drink this.
Obtaining
Inside the Storage Room by interacting with the top right bottle on a table.
First time
(Something catches your eye...)
(You found a BOTTLE OF WINE!)
(You put it inside your pocket along with your other Knick-Knacks.)
[KNICK KNACKS]
You can interact with Knick-Knacks by going through your Pockets in the menu.
Access the menu by pressing ESC or X or 0.
Subsequent times
(The bottle of wine is still here.)
(As with everything else, you lost it when the loop occured.)
(Feels cool to the touch.)
(You found the BOTTLE OF WINE.)
(You pocket it again.)
Usage
Loop 1 / First usage
(The bottle is filled with wine.)
(It'd be a little weird to take a drink now...)
(Maybe next time.)
Subsequent loops / second usage onwards
The wine can only be drank if it has been checked in any previous loop at least once.
First time drinking
(You know what? Yeah, you need it.)
Subsequent times
(Whole new bottle.)
(The one good thing about the loops is that you never live long enough to feel the hangover.)
(You get the bottle out of your pocket and take a swig.)
Fighter (ohfuck2) Woah, woah, woah...
Researcher (oof1) ...Is this the time?
(You offer her the half empty bottle.)
Researcher (wondering3) ...
Researcher (smug1) Yeah, it's the time.
Fighter (surprised3) WOAH, WOAH, WOAH,
(Tchin-tchin.)
(You both drink. You feel a little bit better.)
After drinking
(The bottle is empty.)
Candy Wrapper
Description
Smells a little bit like cantaloupe still. You'll miss it when it's gone...
Obtaining
See the Candy Scene.
Usage
(Crinkle, crinkle.)
Crumpled Poem
Description
"You were there all along, but still, you return home."
Obtaining
On the right side table of the Library.
(A writing desk.)
(There's something on the ground...)
(You picked up a CRUMPLED POEM!)
(You put it inside your pocket along with your other Knick-Knacks.)
Usage
"You were there all along,
but still, you return home."
(You love and hate this poem in equal measure.)
Funny Lookin' Rock
Description
A smooth rock shaped like a triangle.
Obtaining
Interact with the spot where you pick up the second Star Crest (in the small room full of barrels) again, after picking up the Star Crest.
(Just rocks.)
(...Oh.)
(You found a FUNNY LOOKIN' ROCK.)
(You put it inside your pocket along with your other Knick-Knacks.)
Usage
(You drag your finger on the sides of this triangle shaped rock.)
After seeing Snack Scene at least once
(You feel hungry.)
Regretful Note
Description
A note found at the bottom of an empty barrel. "Sorry for eating all the nuts."
Obtaining
Check 8 barrels in a single loop.
(Oh.)
(It's empty.)
(There's something at the bottom...)
(You got a Regretful Note.)
(You put the note in your pocket with your other Knick-Knacks.)
Usage
(You fold the note around and make a tiny crane.)
(You now have a TINY CRANE.)
The Regretful Note is removed from your Pockets, and the Tiny Crane is added.
Shiny Piece of Glass
Description
Sparkly! Sharp!
Obtaining
In the Housemaiden's room, on top of her roommate's cupboard.
(Some vials filled with... something.)
Second loop onwards
You cannot obtain the glass shard in the first loop of the game.
(... oh.)
(You'd forgotten about this, but one of the vials is broken...)
(You got a SHINY PIECE OF GLASS.)
(You put it inside your pocket along with your other Knick-Knacks.)
Usage
Using it for the first time is identical to choosing "(Look at the glass again)". There just isn't a choice the first time.
(The cut on your finger is gone, like it never existed.)
(...)
-
(Put the glass away)
(Not the time to be clumsy.)
-
(Look at the glass again)
(You look at the glass shard.)
(The light of the frozen torches scatters through it.)
(Sparkly.)
The damage sound effect plays.
(Sharp.)
(Oops.)
Kid (worried1) Aaaaaaaah, your finger!!!
Researcher (oof1) Be more careful!
Researcher (worried2) Here, give me your hand.
(She gently takes your hand and wraps a bandage around your finger.)
(So nice, even though she tries to pretend she is not.)
(Next to her, the kid carefully takes the glass shard from you...)
There's a woosh.
(...and throws it across the room.)
Kid (ew1) Why do you have sharp things like this in your pocket anyway???
(...)
The glass shard is removed from your Pockets.
Silver Coin
Description
Happened to be in your pocket before this all started, so you always start again with it.
Obtaining
Available by default.
Usage
Options occur at random.
Option 1
(You roll the coin around in your pocket.)
Option 2
(You grip the coin tightly between your fingers.)
Option 3
(You flip the coin in the air a few times.)
Fighter (happy1) Clap clap clap!
Researcher (sigh1) (SIGH.)
Researcher (oof1) You can just actually clap instead of saying "clap clap clap" out loud.
Fighter (proud1) Never!!!!
Tiny Crane
Description
Someone taught you how to fold cranes a long time ago.
Obtaining
Use the Regretful Note.
Usage
First time
Fighter (happy1) Hey, a crane!
Kid (excited1) Oh! Show me, show me!
Fighter (happy2) I didn't know you knew how to make those, Sif! Where did you learn?
(...)
(You don't...)
(You can't remember who taught you.)
Fighter (annoyed1) ...?
Subsequent times
(You cradle the crane between your hands.)
